The Vischer Ferry Nature & Historic Preserve is a 700-acre preserve located on Riverview Road, teeming with life. On a visit you could encounter many different species of song birds, many different species of ducks and other waterfowl, as well as a diversity of migratory birds. On my first visit, I saw a deer wading in the water, drinking and cooling off in the hot summer sun. You will take a very peaceful walk with the birds all around you.
